  • Maryland Zoo in Baltimore
    April 1, 2008 - May 31, 2008

    All B&O Members will receive free admission during April and May 2008 at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.

    B&O Membership Card must be shown at entrance.

     
  • Historian Dan Toomey to Present “The War Came by Train” Lecture
    Saturday, May 17th, 2008
    2:00 – 2:45 pm

    Dan Toomey: publisher, historian and author will present a 45 minute lecture entitled, “The War Came by Train”. Mr. Toomey will be available afterwards for a short Q&A session and book signing.

    The lecture is included in the regular price of admission: $5-adults, $4-seniors, $3-children ages 2-12 (this lecture is not recommended for children under the age of 7). For more information call 410-461-1945.

    Have fun the old-fashioned way at the Ellicott City Station! Participate in period games and crafts for kids of all ages. Living historians will bring 19th century fun to life throughout the weekend.

    Holiday celebration of toy trains and model railroading including this year's new O-gauge layout in the car house, the Museum's permanent HO-gauge layout in the freight house, an N-gauge layout, and Thomas the Tank Engine!
