Group Reservation Policies

  1. Deposit: A $50.00 (or full payment if less than $50) non-refundable deposit is required for a guaranteed group reservation. Payment in full is required ten (10) days prior to the scheduled visit.
  2. Delays or Postponements: Contact 410-461-1945 on the day of the scheduled visit if the group is late or delayed.
  3. Parking: Free motorcoach and bus parking are available in Lots A, D & F (see parking map at http://www.ellicottcity.net/tourism/parking/ )
  4. Passenger Drop-off: Because of the historic nature of Ellicott City and its narrow streets, there is not, at this point in time, a drop-off point for large buses in front of the Ellicott City Station. Small buses and vans can pull into the loading zone in front of the museum for drop-off and pick-up only. Larger buses and coaches will need to park in Lots A, D, or F, and have their group walk to the station.
  5. Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, the Ellicott City Station is closed if Howard County Schools are closed. Call 410-461-1945 in the event of inclement weather. If the Museum is closed due to inclement weather on the day of a group's scheduled visit, the reservation will be rescheduled. No refunds will be offered.
  6. Food & Drink: No food or drink is permitted inside Museum buildings. Ellicott City has many restaurants in the area. Visit www.visithowardcounty.com for a complete listing of surrounding restaurants and shops.
  7. Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside Museum buildings or grounds.
