Admission:
When is the B&O Railroad Museum - Ellicott City Station open?
The Ellicott City Station is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

When is the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore City open?
The B&O Railroad Museum in downtown Baltimore is open daily Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

What is admission to the Ellicott City Station?
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 seniors (60+), $3 children between the ages of 2-12, and B&O Members are FREE! To purchase a membership package, go to the membership page

What is the admission to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore City?
Admission to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore is $14 for adults, $12 for seniors (60+) and $8 for children between the ages of 2 – 12.

How can I purchase admission to both the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore and Ellicott City Station?
You can purchase admission for each location at either museum or on-line at www.borail.org or www.ecborail.org. The combo admission may be used at both locations and is $16 for Adults, $14 for Seniors (60+), and $10 for children between the ages of 2-12.

If I am visiting the B&O in Baltimore, can I purchase admission to the Ellicott City Station?
Yes, you can purchase admission on-site to either location and your admission paid will be deducted from the combo admission rate.

How can I purchase advance admission to the Ellicott City Station?
Visit www.ecborail.org or call 410-461-1945.

I have a coupon issued prior to the reopening of the Ellicott City Station in March 2006. Is it accepted?
No. The B&O Railroad Museum will not accept coupons issued by the previous management.

I have a coupon from the Baltimore City location. May I use it at the Ellicott City location?
Yes. The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum will accept coupons for both museums at either location unless they have expired.

I am affiliated with a program that currently gets a discount at the B&O in Baltimore. Is this same discount offered at the Ellicott City Station?
Yes, all coupons and discounts are reciprocal at both locations and will be honored as long as the program has not expired.

In case of inclement weather, who do I call?
If you plan to visit the Ellicott City location, please call 410-461-1945. Please note if Howard County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Ellicott City Station is closed.

I want to visit the B&O Railroad Museum in downtown Baltimore . Who do I call in the event of inclement weather?
Call 410-752-2490 ext. 221. Please note that if Baltimore City Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the B&O in Baltimore City will be closed.


Groups:
Are group reservations accepted?
Yes, the Ellicott City Station accepts group reservations Wednesday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

How many individuals are needed to reserve a group?
A minimum of 20 is required to receive a group rate and a maximum of 50 can be allowed for the station tour. Groups larger than 20 will need to be divided into two equal sized groups.

Is there a train ride or transportation from one location to other – from Ellicott City to Baltimore City and back?
No. For public transportation, visit www.mtamaryland.com.

Is there free parking at the Ellicott City Station location?
No. There are several free parking lots and meters available throughout historic Ellicott City. Visit http://www.ellicottcity.net/tourism/parking/ for a view of the city’s map.

Is there a café in the Museum in Ellicott City?
No. There are several restaurants in historic Ellicott City, please visit www.visithowardcounty.com for a complete listings of shops and restaurants.

I have a membership with the B&O in Baltimore. Is it good for admission to the B&O’s Ellicott City Station in Ellicott City?
Yes, individual and business memberships are reciprocal at both locations. Current members are permitted FREE admission at both locations.

If I sign up for a membership at the B&O in Ellicott City, is it good for the B&O in Baltimore?
Yes, individual and business memberships are reciprocal at both locations.

If I visit the Ellicott City Station location can I apply that same day admission towards a membership package?
Yes, you may apply your same day admission receipt to any B&O membership package, which is good for admittance to either museum location.

I would like to purchase a membership that can be used at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum in Baltimore and at the Ellicott City tation in Ellicott City. Who do I call?
